Porom | Final Fantasy IV | not reserved | don't judge me???

Name: Ketsu
Personal LJ: [livejournal.com profile] splitcomplex

Character Name: Porom
Character Series: Final Fantasy IV (http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Final_Fantasy_IV)
Background: Link! (http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Porom)
Point in Canon: Just before she and Palom cast Break on themselves.
Personality: Even at the tender age of five, Porom is wise beyond her years, displaying a sort of maturity that some adults never reach. (I'm looking at you, After Years!Palom.) She's kind and caring, overly respectful toward her elsers, and is good at keeping her cool even in a crisis.

When I say that Porom is "kind and caring", I mean it. Even though she's still very young, she's more than willing to put her life on the line for others, and even to die to protect someone else. No matter what length she has to go to, if it's to benefit others, she'll do it. Her gentility and selflessness are part of what makes her such an accomplished White Mage.

Of course, she's not always nice to people. In fact, she can be something of a nag. If someone is being rude or disrespectful, or getting themself into trouble, Porom is right there trying to talk them out of it. She'd only be downright impolite toward someone she's very close to -- her brother, for example -- but even toward anyone else she would still use a firm and forceful tone.

Of course, one's personality is informed by one's memories. With amnesia, Porom wouldn't quite know why she acts the way she does. Because the twins lost their parents for unspecified reasons and can't even remember them, Porom takes on a sort of surrogate mother role toward Palom. Without that knowledge, she would likely be less of a bossy nag, for example.

Also, it canon that Porom has wanderlust, a desire to see the world, but she holds these feelings back for the sake of being responsible. If she didn't know she were supposed to be responsible, she would likely be more impulsive and curious; once her memories eventually return, though, she would feel embarrassed by her previous bad behavior and set out to right whatever wrongs she would believe she committed.

Ky Kiske | Guilty Gear

[identity profile] sacred-thunder.livejournal.com 2011-10-02 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Name: Chris
Personal LJ: [livejournal.com profile] hurricane_chris
Contact Info: Already given.

Character Name: Ky Kiske
Character Series: Guilty Gear (http://guilty-gear.wikia.com/wiki/Guilty_Gear_Wiki)
Background: http://guilty-gear.wikia.com/wiki/Ky_Kiske
Point in Canon: End of Accent Core Plus.
Personality: Ky is an extremely devout and upstanding individual. If he believes in something, he believes in it with all his heart. He is a strong believer in God (and, being French, is probably Catholic), and is also a strong believer in the inherent goodness found in humanity. And he will avoid straying from his beliefs at all costs.

However, this also comes with a negative side. Because of Ky's beliefs, he has an extremely rigid view of right and wrong. To him, the entire world is divided into justice and injustice. Ky believes that he is implementing justice, and that justice will always prevail in the end. Ky doesn't take this belief to knight templar extremes, but he does come close.

This has been changing ever since Sol killed Justice, though. Sol's defeat of the Commander Gear -- the same being that had fought Ky's mentor 17 times, each time ending in a draw until Justice finally killed Kliff -- threw his worldview into utter turmoil. Ky could not understand how a man like Sol could do the deed when Kliff, a much greater man in Ky's opinion, could not. From the end of the first Guilty Gear game on until the end of Accent Core Plus, Ky spends time trying to figure out what justice truly is.

In the process, Ky's black-and-white view of the world gradually begins to soften. By the end of Accent Core Plus, he's almost thrown it away entirely. His time spent with Sol and Dizzy has shown Ky that Gears are not inherently evil (Ky recognizes that Sol isn't evil -- just a jackass) and starts working with people he never would have dreamed of working with before. A prime example is Johnny. In his earlier days, Ky never would have worked with a pirate. Now, though, he entrusts the Commander Gear to his care, and is willing to work alongside him to reveal more mysteries of their world, in particular the Post-War Administration Bureau.

That being said, Ky has plenty of other good qualities. For one, you would be hard-pressed to find a more selfless man. If a person is in trouble, Ky will go out of his way to save them, even if there is nothing in it for him. Usually there is, though -- had Ky not subdued Dizzy's wings, the results would have been catastrophic.

Ky is also a hard worker. He sets his eyes on a goal and does not stop until he achieves that goal. The best example of this was the five-year period in between Ky first approaching Kliff and Ky's initiation into the Sacred Order of Holy Knights. He trained like there was no tomorrow, and as a result is in peak physical condition and incredibly skilled with magic (lightning is the most difficult magic to master, yet Ky is capable of using it with minimal difficulty).

Finally, Ky is very intelligent and charismatic. He has a good grasp on the world and its history, and is also intelligent enough to know about his charisma and therefore put it to good use. Talent aside, it was these factors that got him positions as both the leader of the Sacred Order of Holy Knights and captain in the International Police Force. He also uses these gifts to secure a network of political connections. Ky uses his gifts, and he uses them damn well.

Background: T&B Wiki entry (http://tigerbunny.wikia.com/wiki/Lunatic) [warning: triggers for domestic violence in this wiki entry as well as the personality section.]

Point in Canon: The end of the first season.

Yuri Petrov | Tiger & Bunny | not reserved 2

[identity profile] a-civil-service.livejournal.com 2011-10-04 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Personality:
Yuri Petrov is a man with two faces: one he shows the world, and one he keeps a secret. Outwardly, he is calm, controlled, and polite. He is a man concerned with his civic duty, dedicated to making the community a better place. Though not particularly warm and somewhat reserved, he isn't an unfriendly person. He might be more formal in manner than most, but he can appear affable enough in social situations. He has a subtle, slightly dry sense of humor that some find appealing. In spite of his largely logical, practical attitude, he has a love of and flair for the dramatic that others might catch glimpses of every now and again. He is confident without being arrogant, but he doesn't suffer fools lightly. There is an end to his patience, and he can become frustrated with those he finds particularly trying. He does his best to keep his temper in check, and this frustration usually shows itself as sarcasm or a certain iciness of manner. In some ways, this persona is a façade, for Yuri leads a double life. His identity as the impartial judge serves as a cover for his alter ego, for he is also the vigilante Lunatic. As polite and even-tempered as he appears outwardly, inwardly, he is much more negative, critical and cynical.

When not at work, Yuri keeps to himself. He may be mannerly and eloquent in public, but he is difficult to get to know privately. He has little personal life to speak of. He spends much of his free time in contemplation and research. His hobbies are quiet ones. He likes to read, research, and sew, and he has a great fondness for tea, often brewing and tasting different varieties. He trains in secret, becoming ever more adept at the use of his power. He does this because he has a dream, a passion that drives him.

For Yuri is haunted by his past and by the hidden depth of his suppressed emotions. He has never recovered from what he views as his murder of his father. He has not sought help of any kind, and he copes with what he did to his father by trying to convince himself it was the right thing to do. In spite of the fact that he'd been a terrified child, he considers it his fault, but he'd used his power to rid the world of a villain, hadn't he? That's what he wants to believe. Beneath his calm surface is a man who suffers from severe depression and delusional thinking, though he struggles to control himself and maintain his external composure as well as he can. Yuri's love of justice and his distorted way of thinking have combined to inspire in him the desire to wipe out crime as Lunatic. He wants to bring peace to the world by eliminating all criminals, killing them as he killed his father, so they can never harm people again. His ultimate goal is the protection of the weak and defenseless. He doesn't kill because he enjoys it.

Without his memories, Yuri would have none of that obsession with punishment. He would genuinely be that calm, serious, yet amenable person he appears to be, the person that the sensitive, introverted boy he once was would have grown into if not for the trauma he experienced. He would be gentler and less relentless. Yet when his memories begin to return, so too would that inner turmoil--as well as Lunatic. That is not to say that Yuri, even with his memories, is not capable of change and growth. He has become particularly interested in the hero Wild Tiger, whose different view of justice intrigues him. The end of season one shows that his view of the Heroes and Tiger in particular has softened somewhat, though he still views himself as their adversary.

Yuri Petrov | Tiger & Bunny | not reserved 3

[identity profile] a-civil-service.livejournal.com 2011-10-04 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
Sample Entry:

[His memories may be gone, but not all of his past has been taken away. Some of it remains in the scar on his face. Such a large, odd, localized scar, unmistakably shaped like a handprint. It makes him uneasy, not because of any residual memory, but because logic tells him such a scar is unlikely to have a pleasant story behind it. He studies it in the mirror sometimes--never for long, but he can never resist looking again later.

Today, he believes he may have come closer to learning something about it. Again, not because of a memory, but the past is not all contained within memories. There are clues to it elsewhere. He'd been feeling upset, agitated, frustrated by the absences within his mind, at the whole absurd situation--when suddenly, his vision had filled with flames.

Blue flames that he'd created.

Could the flames have something to do with the scar? It resembles a burn scar, though he would hardly have injured himself with fire--he hopes. Unnerving. Yet fascinating. He is able to make fire, although, if he could once control it, he does not remember that. After several hours' diligent practice, he is able to produce a flame above his palm at will. It is then that he turns to the network.]

Have any of you found yourselves manifesting abilities that you did not know you had, which your knowledge tells you are not ordinary among the population of the world of your origin? Is that a common occurrence here? [It seems unlikely that they are given new abilities when their memories are taken, but it's not impossible.] I wonder if it's something we might have in common. It strikes me as potentially dangerous.

There is something wrong. [These words slip out before he can stop them. An obvious statement. Is he referring to himself, or their general situation? He isn't sure, but he means more than is readily apparent.] I'm concerned for all of us here. It could be quite psychologically damaging to take away an individual's memories and then restore them piece by piece, not in their proper order.

Character Name: Haruhi Suzumiya
Character Series: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (http://haruhi.wikia.com/wiki/Haruhi_Suzumiya_Light_Novel)
Background: Again, a wiki link to the character's background will generally suffice. A combination of this and the above canon overview should give a good explanation. Given the nature of the game, this is not only necessary, but we will require you to write something yourself if there's no explanatory source.
Point in Canon: After the events of "The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya (Final Part)"

Personality:
One good word to describe Haruhi is the one most people call her once they get to know her for only a few minutes. And what is that word, you may ask? Eccentric. However, there is more to her than meets the eye. Sure, no ordinary girl would introduce herself in her first day at high school as a person who actually asks for the supernatural, specifically aliens, time travelers, and espers. She even states bluntly that she wants those types of people to join her.

It’s true that to many people at her school, she is considered weird, but she is still human. In the middle of “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”, she actually tells Kyon that she has actual feelings, she does have hormones and sometimes she just wants to do silly teenager things such as going out with someone, but she doesn’t want to be ordinary, she wants to be different. Ordinary, to her, is completely and utterly boring, and she doesn’t want that at all. Plus, making Haruhi bored is a no-go, especially if you’re a part of the S.O.S Brigade. And even more so if your nickname is ‘Kyon’. Most likely, someone who makes her bored will receive punishment, and that punishment usually is the first thing that comes to mind – at least, the first thing that would make one person’s life miserable.

Even though Haruhi says that she wants to meet “aliens, time travelers, and espers”, she is actually quite logical. In the back of her mind, as told by Koizumi, she knows that these things exist, but she just wants them to exist- which is why aliens, time travelers, and espers do exist, but Haruhi doesn’t exactly know that. And even if she was told the truth, she wouldn’t believe you without proof.

Haruhi always gets what she wants. For the most part, at least. She will do anything to get what she wants by any means necessary, whether it means bribing someone, or even blackmail. However, Kyon is pretty much her ‘sanity’ at times, for he is one of the only people who won’t succumb to her whims, which everyone else does. It actually annoys her to no end, and all she wants is for Kyon to obey her, like a god. Though sometimes that isn’t really a good thing, because she does tend to abuse her power, and well, ordinary people don’t always agree with her – and she has to deal with the fact that she too, makes mistakes, and isn’t perfect.

Sure, she isn’t perfect, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have emotions. Haruhi actually does care about the S.O.S Brigade and believes that they’re irreplaceable in each and every way. She expects the best from them, and nothing less than one hundred percent.

haruhi suzumiya → the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya (reserved; 2/2)

[identity profile] masaras.livejournal.com 2011-10-06 03:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Nonetheless, even with all the eccentricities that Haruhi has, she’s quite athletic and is one of the smartest girls in her class. In fact, during most tests, she ends up finishing early and therefore sleeping in the middle of said test.

Another thing to note is that Haruhi is quite impulsive. She will do things on a whim, especially when she comes up with the idea right there and then. She works on those impulses, which actually lead her to the creation of the S.O.S Brigade. She didn’t care if there weren’t enough members in the club to actually make it ‘official’, she just wanted a clubroom and an official club all to herself, for all the other clubs were a big snooze. Though then again, this was all Kyon’s fault, even if it was indirect. Haruhi also has a tendency to drag people into things, which are usually either mysterious, odd, but most of them are actually interesting. Even if Kyon may hate it.

Love is a mental illness. At least, that’s what she believes. Sure, she may have a little thing for Kyon, but she believes that love isn’t something that she should be doing right now and that she should focus on her brigade and on finding something different, special – just plain supernatural. After all, ordinary is boring, right?

Haruhi is also quite attached to the title of ‘Brigade Chief’ and she will force most people, especially strangers, to call her that unless you’re Kyon or a part of the brigade. It annoys her to be put down by people who are obviously lower than her. Then there’s a possibility of calling her by name. Though she honestly doesn’t like being called by name too often, especially if she doesn’t know you. You need her permission for that.

Kyubei Yagyu | Gintama

[identity profile] babeltowers.livejournal.com 2011-10-08 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
Name: Katy
Personal LJ: [livejournal.com profile] fei
Contact Info: aim: klaver, plurk: alternia

Character Name: Kyubei Yagyu
Character Series: Gintama (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gin_Tama)
Background: Yagyu Family (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Gin_Tama_characters#Yagyu_Family)
Point in Canon: Episode 220
Personality:

The first time you meet Kyubei, all you are exposed to is a short but willful young man - "his" first appearance was to demand that Otae Shimura become "his" wife - he had her taken to the Yagyu home in preparation for this. A battle to get her back ensued between the Yagyu hme and her friends - essentially her friends won, and Kyubei's true nature was found out. During his battle with Toshiro Hijikata, the opponent figured out Kyubei's secret and refused to fight - Kyubei is in fact, female, though since the Yagyu family had no sons, she was raised as one in order to succeed the family name. Her father had refused to remarry after her mother passed away, resulting in Kyubei being an only child. She was born female in both mind and body, but due to her rigorous training to become the heir, she has a very hard time in dealing with her gender and what to do about Otae. In the end, Otae promised to continue being best friends as they were as children, and Kyubei is willing for this to happen, as long as she is close to her. She was defeated and allowed Shimura to go back home, and to this day the two are still very close.

Kyubei Yagyu | Gintama

[identity profile] babeltowers.livejournal.com 2011-10-08 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
Getting that out of the way, the next step is dealing with Kyubei's mind after she stops being "a bad guy". The two girls are often working on ways to let Kyubei feel more feminine - shopping, dressing up, once even having a debut party for Kyubei to meet men - however, it's not working out like they hoped, as Kyubei still despises being touched by men (even attacking them when it happens) and still wants Otae as her wife - though she does refer to herself as a female, now. Many characters still use male pronouns for her, though it seems to depend on the situation and the person. In the "ambitious future arc", Kyubei is seen dressed as a woman... But had surgery to get male organs. It's also shown that her retainer fears that his "cute boss" will get a penis attached due to the advertisement he found in her room - but it turned out it was for a dress shop instead. Kyubei rarely wears female clothes, and when she does, it's always on Otae's insistence, though she does seem embarrassed by it. Finally, it's proven several times that she still retains feelings for Shimura and feels that Isao Kondo is a rival to her affection. There are several quotes that prove she is actually female in both mind and body, even past her male upbringing. "I really...just wanted to play with dolls and have tea parties. I wanted to walk through town in a pretty kimono like the other girls." She reveals that she hated what her family had done to her. It's thought that she developed a mental barrier that made her beleve that she was "more than" male or female, as she has mentioned several times that she would "turn into" a male in order to protect Otae, as well as "turn into" a male fr her family - and finally, she's allowed to naturally be whomever she wants.

Kyubei herself is a natural deadpan character - she's very formal, very polite and to the point. Raised as a noble, she holds herself in high esteem and refuses to back down from anything. Due to the gag humour that makes up Gintama, Kyubei often misinterprets situations ridiculously, acts wildly out of character in the most inopportune times (To Gintoki, that is), and cannot always be taken completely seriously. She refuses to wear the clothes that her retainer buys, going at lengths to blow them up. Often she is seen accidentally being groped, resulting in her completely trashing the men who touched her. She is blunt and does not have much tact when it comes to dealing with people who are not nobles, thanks to her strange upbringing. When dealing with others, she speaks in a direct manner, not often getting angry or losing her cool. Kyubei does not show active interest in many things, it can be hard to get to know her due to this personality she was brought up with, though on the inside she is a very genuine person - she is not the type to lie, deceive or backstab. Raised in an era of samurai who were trounced by aliens, Kyubei has a sense of 'bushido' like many other characters, she is very proud and constantly acts like a noble, however she harbors no ill-will to the Amanto it seems.

Kyubei's goals are simple - succeed the Yagyu house, marry Otae and be a strong swordsman - her skills can rival the main character's at times, she is often seen carrying her practice sword. By becoming the lord of the Yagyu home, Kyubei feels that she will pass all expectations that a woman could be strong as well - not to mention all of the people who picked on her as a child. By marrying Otae, she will fulfill their promise and won't let any harm come to her - when she was young, she lost her eye defending Otae, trying to repay all of the kindness that the girl had given her. She wishes for a future where Shimura could live happily and without worry. As of this time, she does anything she can to gain Shimura's approval, even working with her to become more feminine (learning to cook, helping out at an escort club, wearing gothic lolita clothing). Her family is considerably less harsh on her since the battle, however she still works hard to keep up the name - the Yagyu house is close to the government and Shogun.

[identity profile] babeltowers.livejournal.com 2011-10-08 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
Various personality quirks include an ability to grow attached to things - Otae, small animals, the Shogun's monkey... She does her best to do the right thing at all times, even wen faced with her own problems. Kyubei is a hard worker, determined and brave. She will do anything and everything she can to help out those she is close to. Things that can set her off are things like men touching her, anyone upsetting th Shimura siblings, or dissing her family. After her first stunt as an enemy, she does not force anyone into any situation for her. She dislikes asking for help, but it is not beneath her if it's her last hope. Preferring to do things the way she was raised, you could say. As a note, Kyubei is extremely socially awkward - many modern customs are lost on her, as she is a very "straight up" person. In a group of people, Kyubei prefers to be left aone, though due to her standing, she knows she must socialise with others in order to keep up her nobility. As a final addition, Kyubei enjoys the freedom she has to be female now, and is slowly allowing herself to become more softer and feminine - and enjoys it.

Mud does not magically appear on clothing. I will find the perpetrator, and make them pay.

Character Name: Kaguya Nanbu

Character Series: Super Robot Wars OG Saga: Endless Frontier

Background: & & & Prior to the game, Kaguya spent her time training under Otone to master the Jinraku Tengen style of kenjutsu. At the age of eighteen, she embarked on a coming of age pilgrimage that every woman in her family bloodline must take. After nearly sacrificing herself and watching a world that was ripped apart become whole again, Kaguya returned to Taketori Castle only after promising to ask Haken to kidnap her when she wants to go on another adventure with her.

Point in Canon: After the events of the first game.

wow the shortest app i've ever done

[personal profile] ai 2011-10-08 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
Personality:
As an imperial princess to her clan, Kaguya's personality is pretty linear to the ditsy princess stereotype. Naive to most of the jokes regarding her bust size, her current view of the world and it's inhabitants is definitely clouded. Believing everyone she comes across has the best of intentions, she is ignorant of most insults unless they are boldly spoken. If she happens to understand the joke made at her expense or the insult, she's quick to dispel her cheerful demeanor, replacing it with annoyance, and encourage the rest of her comrades to join her in kicking the offending party's ass.

Along with being naive comes the rest of the typical princess personality traits - cheerful, upbeat, and very bubbly. Kaguya's eagerness to do what is right is a strong personality trait. She will disobey and continue to oppose all who believe she needs to just return home. With her own agenda in mind, she's fought against those who wanted to bring her back to her original kingdom, believing in her alternative plan rather than the one her father believes in.

When it comes to being selflessness and selfish, she is at the extreme ends of both. She is willing to sacrifice herself to save the world later on in the game. However, on the same path of saving it, she wanted to say "screw world peace" and return home just because she was unable to take the heat of the desert. Overall benevolent with her spiritual background, she will often pray for others in their time of need, even if the time is during the middle of a fight.

Playful and adventurous, her attitude towards others generally is to be friendly. Capable of making friends with ease, she has the traits to be a natural leader... if only she applied them. In love, she seems to be passive with her emotions, keeping them to herself mostly, but they can slip out if she feels threatened. She is also easily flustered by flirts (if she catches them) and at times has shown to be envious whenever Haken flirts with another woman in front of her.

Hello everyone ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ Kaguya here! I was told recently I should take up employment at a club. I went to the library, but they told me I was too old for any of the school clubs there. For the record, I'm only eighteen years old. I don't know how that's too old for anything!

Regardless, I was given a tome with yellow pages to flip through for clubs.

I found one that was referenced to as a 'Gentleman's Club' thankfully. So guess what I did?

Are you guessing?

I think I gave you enough time to guess.
[ She really didn't. ] I went to pay it a visit! ( ´∀`) After all of my hard work, victory would finally be mine.

They hired me on the spot. It was hardly any work at all! I guess being charismatic and hard-working just shows all the time!

I do have a strange question though and that's why I'm contacting the lot of you at such a strange hour.

Is it appropriate for ladies to wear such vestments at a club?

Madoka Kaname | Puella Magi Madoka ☆ Magica | 1/3

Character Name: Madoka Kaname
Character Series: Puella Magi Madoka ☆ Magica (http://wiki.puella-magi.net/)

Background: Character Wiki (http://wiki.puella-magi.net/Madoka_Kaname) ☆ Episodes (http://wiki.puella-magi.net/Episodes)

Point in Canon: Episode 12 ☆ Godoka
I'll be playing her in her human form, as if from the sparkly bffsnotlesbiansrly scene.

Personality:

For the majority of the series, Madoka is a very common girl. She is the definition of a normal Jr high student; fairly happy, most comfortable with her close circle of friends, casually interested in looking cute and getting love letters... Madoka seems pretty plain at first glance. But there's more to Madoka, more to her then she even knows.

In all of the series' timelines, Madoka is portrayed as a happy girl surrounded by happy family and happy friends. She is a friendly girl who is always looking to help people and be of use to them, but is plagued by a lack of confidence that makes it hard for Madoka to turn her kind thoughts into action.

Her lack of action is a driving point in the series. Throughout the show, Madoka is constantly worried about the issue of making a contract to become a magical girl. She drags the decision on because Madoka is a very thoughtful and careful person, but also because she has trouble being brave. The series shows us that when Madoka has a problem she will talk it through multiple times and take her sweet time making important decisions, if she can help it. In situations where Madoka cannot take the time to think something through and anaylze all ends of it, she will act impulsively and then pay for her choice later--- two prime examples of this are when she stops a group suicide and then freaks out afterwards, and when she shoots Mami to save Homura and has her mental breakdown after the fact.

Though Madoka attempts to be informed and think things through, she still has some personality flaws that taint her choices. For one, Madoka is a very idealistic person. She approaches things with the glass half full, as any optimist would. Though she is capable of learning (Mami's death did the trick), Madoka is persistently hopeful throughout and series and always hopes for a way to make things better.

Her kindness also influences her thought processes. She is not very good at picking sides in a conflict and is much happier to silence her own opinion in the name of dissolving conflict and finding a peaceful solution. For example, she doesn't directly say if she thinks Sayaka is right or Kyouko but instead hopes they can compromise. She does this again when Homura makes claims about soul gems becoming grief seeds, never directly saying she does not believe Homura while her actions suggest otherwise.

Madoka's timid nature is the final flaw in her decision making. She is constantly questioning herself and has very little confidence. Though Madoka doesn't flaunt her lack of confidence, she does not usually approach things thinking that she can accomplish them well. She sets low expectations and therefore restricts herself. She is capable of confidence, but even that is overshadowed by her modesty (Madoka claims to be good at running in her 100 question survey). I do not play Madoka as being a totally incompetent person but instead as someone who needs to give herself more credit.

It should also be addressed that Madoka is quite selfless. In most timelines, Madoka makes a contract with Kyuubey to save the life of a stray cat. She is the type of person who is willing to accept a life of fighting witches for the sake of one animal. Madoka very strongly wants to help everyone around her and be of use to them and actively puts herself down as a minor concern.

However, the biggest issue for Madoka is confidence. Madoka needs to feel worth the life she's living to be confident in herself and is typically seen to accomplish this by becoming a magical girl. Madoka believes that, as a magical girl, she is able to help protect people and is therefore a worthwhile person. This confidence is what changes Madoka from timidly following behind Homura in one timeline to being the one leading Homura with an energetic smile on her face--- performing the exact same conversation just with a role reversal. Confidence is the difference between the terrified Madoka who prevents a suicide and then begins freaking out when pursued and the brave Madoka who saves Homura and continues to protect her with a confident smile.

With her confidence, episode 12 Madoka is able to make the miraculous wish that effectively saves magical girls everywhere. Her wish turns Madoka into something of a goddess (though she does not think of herself as a goddess) who is able to see all worlds and times in order to change them. As "Godoka" she is at the prime of her confidence. Madoka has no fears for the future and confidently believes in herself and wants everyone else to be able to believe in themselves until the very end as well. She is much more calming and full of love for absolutely everyone.

Memories-wise, Madoka's personality will develop gradually as she gets more memories. She is likely to be a cross between her Puella Magi and normal Madoka self in terms of confidence at first, with her feeling of self worth wavering as she gets more memories. Since she will probably end up remembering all timelines, Madoka will optimistically cling to her Puella Magi persona and try to make herself a helpful person. It will take getting memories of the last episode to turn Madoka into her nurturing Goddess self, though.

[ The video flips on, revealing a calm face. Kyubei blinks, then looks down. It's not something she wishes to ask about, but there's no choice. The questions are burning in her mind and it's bothering her too much. ]

What are the theories on this place's ruler? Has there been any mentionable evidence as to what is going on? If so... If anyone knows anything about this place - or themselves - we should group together and see if anything overlaps.

[ Directly to the point. She hates showing any weaknesses, even one so much as this. ]

Many may not know much, but every little bit of information is useful. Even if you know nothing, do not hesitate to ask questions. [ Unlike herself. ] I do not wish to be a burden on any one person, but I must stress this fact. The more you know, the longer you will survive. The more you know, the less idiotic you will appear when trying to seduce a man. The more you know, the less chance you have of getting something caught in your-
